Team Organization
The Team consists of one Operations Supervisor, two Team Leaders, and twenty seven (27) Detectives. FIAT is proud to include the DuPage County Sheriff’s Department Forensic Unit as its crime scene investigation unit.
 
Requests for activation of the Major Case Unit are made by the FIAT member agency’s Chief of Police to the FIAT Coordinator. Once approved, the Major Case Unit Operations Supervisor coordinates notification and response of the MCU Detectives.
